The
Company and its Clients
Launched in 1995, with expertise from years of application development,
conversions, and commercial compiler development, J & C Migrations
has customers in North America, Europe, Australia, and the islands
of Palau in Micronesia. We specialize in automating conversions,
using repeatable processes that generate readable and highly portable
COBOL code.
RPG Conversion clients include New York State Department of Transportation
whose RPG we converted to LE COBOL on Mainframe MVS, helping them pave
the way to the future, Boise Cascade
Corporation whose VSE RPG with DLI operations we milled into COBOL
with embedded EXEC DLI statements. We also helped independent software
vendor Computac Inc. migrate
customers in the USA and Canada onto RS/6000 AIX systems, and helped
migrate Warner Music Germany RPGII applications from Wang VS onto HP-UX
with an Oracle database and ACUCOBOL-GT. Check out an IBM
success story of our service to their VM customer
Danville Metal
We consulted on COBOL dialects and data repair automation to
Admiral Insurance Company
with code repair, and helped the Australian Telephone company
Telstra.
We provide software conversion services to Banks and Financial institutions,
Manufacturers, Distributors, Software Vendors, and Government Agencies.
Our RPGII and related translators are most popular, but we develop new
translators as needs arise — if you don't find a translator, by
all means, please ask us to consider creating one.
